The UK line-up of Reason Gaming, caused quite a stir around the community when they announced that they would be the newest team to represent the [R] tag at the most recent installment of the Epic.LAN Series, Epic.EIGHT in February this year. Things never really went to plan and they decided it was to call it quits a few weeks later. Although they have now decided to return bringing with them a new home whilst making a change at the same time.
Team Element have been one of the most supportive organisations to the Call of Duty 4 scene since it was created in May of 2008, they have had their fair share of strong rosters over the year but until recently haven't had a line-up for quite some time. The decision to take in the former Reason Gaming squad ultimately proves they are ready to progress through 2012, with the stability and dedication of their new team they will be able to persue the targets they have set themselves.
Now onto the line-up itself, it was team captain, Craig SNWZY3 Snowden who thought that the time was right for a reformation and soon brought Kyle Smiffy Smith back onboard. To make things better they persuaded the dynamic duo of Dan rapid Shakeshaft and Tom cronik Palombella back in to brand the Element tag. For their fifth and final addition they decided not to ask back the Scouser, Aaron baker Baker instead they opted for the recently departed LiNK Gaming player of George raivz Marsh, with whom they decided was the best possible person for the squad.
Their plans over the next 7 months start with Season Three of CyberGamer's Amateur Ladder, where they will look to push for promotion into the Main League come Season Four. Epic.NINE in July and insomnia46 in August will see a definite attendance from the guys, whilst the pricing up of an EU LAN has also begun, although they are not sure where they will venture out to. Needless to say they are already looking stronger with the addition of George Marsh, and one can say the only way is up for the new Team Element roster.
Statement - Kyle Smith
"First off, I'd like everyone to look at rapid's surname. On topic; The majority of us have pulled back together for one last swing at things. We've brought George in to replace Aaron however, which was a big step for us seeing as he is southern. After a really poor performance offline at epic8 we tried a lot of different things and nothing seemed to be working which resulted in endless nights of arguing, an addiction to HoN and a broken headset. We've recently joined Team Element and I feel we can finally give Andy what he deserves, as we have proved ourselves to be a stable lineup for the majority of the last 8 months. I'd like to thank Ben and Javier at Reason Gaming for all the help and support we received at Reason and I'd like to thanks Andy for the opportunity to do him proud."
